A Summer of Music, Momentum & Unexpected Opportunities

This summer has been an incredible reminder of why I chose to pursue music full-time.

What started as a passion for performing has continued to grow into something much bigger than I imagined. Over the past few months, I’ve had the opportunity to perform at some amazing community events throughout Central Ohio, including the Dublin Market at Bridge Park every Saturday and the Grandview Hop the last Saturday of each month until September.

There’s something special about performing outdoors and being surrounded by people who may have never heard me sing before. Every performance

gives me the chance to connect with a new audience, create a memorable moment, and hopefully leave people wanting to hear more.

And one of the most exciting parts of this summer has been realizing that people are watching—even when I don’t know they are.

Several of the opportunities I’ve received recently have come from businesses and organizations that saw me performing at other events. They heard the music, saw the crowd’s reaction, and reached out about having me perform for their own guests and customers.

That means so much to me.

As a performer, you never really know who is standing in the crowd, who is listening from across the street, or who might remember you after the event is over. Sometimes a performance that feels like “just another Saturday” can lead to an entirely new opportunity.

That has definitely been the case for me this summer.

I’m grateful for every market, festival, business, private event, and community gathering that has given me a platform to do what I love. I’m also grateful for the people who stop, listen, sing along, make requests, take videos, share my music, follow me on social media, and tell someone else about Sidewalk Serenades.

The music is opening doors.

And I’m walking through them.

As I continue building Sidewalk Serenades and growing my performance business, my goal remains the same: to bring great music, positive energy, and memorable moments wherever I perform.

There’s still plenty of summer left—and I’m excited to see where the music takes me next.
